Several children have made decisions for Christ during the Summer and will be baptized at the River on August 7th. We are looking forward to a greatlast Summer month as we head into Fall.    Join us as we: Live the Adventure of Finding and Following Jesus! On Sundays we will be offering a new thing called Truth Trek for K-5th Graders. A child may attend once at either 9:30 or 11:00am. Truth Trek will be centered around one key Bible Truth. Each week that Bible Truth will be the focus of all activities, small & large group times, music and technology. If you are interested in serving this Fall with elementary kids, then please contact me soon! We are excited about new things and adding new faces to our leadership. Training will begin in August.    Parents are reminded that promotion will happen on Kick-Off Sunday, September 11th. We will also begin using a new communication tool called The City. Please be watching for ways to connect with The City and enroll your family. This will also link to our new computerized check-in system that will be used this Fall. Join us at the Beach Bash: Sunday Surf: 9:30am OR 11:00am Sundays, June-August For kids who have completed K-5th Graders may join us at either 9:30 or 11:00am as we surf through God’s Word to answer some of life’s tough questions and learn to "Catch God’s Wave". Games, Upbeat Worship, and Surfing Competitions are all a part of the fun as we learn and "Catch God’s Wave". Parents Remember:  *  Complete our new Summer Registration to avoid long lines. These are available at the Beach Bash table downstairs or click here to download a registraion form. *  We are starting our upgraded security in June. This is for all children who have completed K-5th Grade. Children must be accompanied by their parent to check-in and will only be released to the adult with the correct security card. *  Start your KidVenture journey upstairs in room 210. *  All summer activities for KidVenture are for children who have completed K-5th Grade because promotion will take place on September 11th. Special Events & Excursions:  Summer Splash: August 17 from 6:30-8:30pm. Wednesday night of VBS style fun for kids who have completed K-5th, come for a fun night of Games, Cool Music, Bible Story, Snack and of course...Wipe Out! 6:30 - 8:30pm in the Worship Center. Reminder: An Adult must check-in & out each child, so plan to come inside each week. West Side Church Franklin Pool Family Swim – Sunday, August 21 from 5-7pm. $2 per child or $4 per family. For kids 5th grade and under and their families. This is a great opportunity to get to know and invite your neighbors! Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  Special Events for 4th & 5th Graders Saturday, August 6th – Swim Party & Cookout 12:00-4pm @ the Silveys’ home.
