EARLY CHILDHOOD MINISTRIES Birth through Pre-K (age 4/5 has not yet been to Kindergarten) Beginning the first of September, just in time for Fall Kick-Off, our Early Childhood Ministries will have a new name, a new look, a new focus! is the new name for our Early Childhood Ministries located everywhere but concentrated in the Early Childhood Center. This seemed an obvious name for a ministry that welcomes new life! During the first five years of life children learn at an unprecedented rate. It is our responsibility to provide an environment conducive to learning, where the very beginnings of faith and trust are established. Children can accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior at an early age. Our trained staff is ready to usher them into the Kingdom of God as the Holy Spirit leads. A new LOOK! The Early Childhood Center has been completely repainted to tell the story of God’s creation, kid style! Each room depicts the "Beginnings" of the human race and the world that we know. A new FOCUS with a new vision and mission statement: Our vision is to partner with parents to lead young children into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to present the Bible to children to help them know, love and follow Jesus. West Side Church Franklin Pool Family Swim – Sunday, August 21 from 5-7pm. $2 per child or $4 per family. For kids 5th grade and under and their families. This is a great opportunity to get to know and invite your neighbors! Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. New Kick-Off Sunday - Sept. 11th! Promotion Sunday will occur for ages 2 through 4/5. The City will offer better communication for West Side. You and your family will want to become a part of The City. A new computerized check-in system linked to The City will expedite check-in for families. Want to be a part of the Early Childhood Team? We have an electronic paging system that allows parents to be notified when their little one needs the attention only Mom or Dad can provide!
