Glen graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1983 with a BS in missionary aviation technology. He has been a pilot with JAARS for 22 years.
His first assignment in Brazil began in 1986. Glen logged tens of thousands of safe miles as a jungle pilot transporting hundreds of missionaries and their supplies to remote Amazonian villages. Through Glen’s ministry as a pilot on medical emergency flights, many lives were saved.
Due to difficulty in obtaining visas to return to Brazil, Glen and Beverly are serving at the Wycliffe Bible Translators/JAARS Center in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Glen is using his experience and aviation background to challenge churches and individuals to be involved in missions. Glen is currently the Director of the Missions at the Airport program for JAARS and travels widely throughout the United States. Beverly is involved in the JAARS “Women’s Ministries” by encouraging other missionary wives as they return from stressful overseas assignments.
Glen has also assisted in cooperative disaster relief efforts in Honduras and Indonesia in recent years.
They have three grown children.
