At West Side, we encourage everyone to join a home group. Why? Because we don't want anyone to walk away or walk alone. God puts us in the church to encourage one another as we learn to walk with the Lord. Being in a home group is an important part of that encouragement.
What is a Home Group? A home group is a voluntary gathering of four to twelve people who intentionally work together under the guidance of a proven and accountable leader, to become more like Jesus Christ. Small groups of people meet in homes throughout the week for the purpose of building relationships, encouraging one another, learning together and praying for one another. It's a great place to explore, ask questions and grow!
What kind of group are you looking for? Groups may be organized around location, stage of life, marital status, special interests or other needs. You can choose the group you want to be part of based on your own interests, availability and affinity with the other people in the group. Groups usually get together at least every other week. To help you find the right group for your needs, we have provided a tool that will help you narrow your search. If you are interested in joining a home group, you can browse West Side's groups to find one that meets your preferences. You can also enter a GroupFinder profile to submit your preferences to get connected to a home group.
NOTE: The GroupFinder tool is provided by our partner, ChurchTeams. You are about to leave the West Side site and log into our section of the ChurchTeams site. By inquiring about a group, there is no obligation to commit yourself to that group.
