Men's Ministry Guiding Principle: Our job is to proclaim the awesomeness of Christ so that He can do His life-transforming work in men.
"We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me." (Colossians 1:28-29)

August 18 – 21 the Fishers of Men will go to Whidbey Island for salmon in a trip that has annually become a highlight of their fishing season. There is a lot of planning for poles, cars and boats, so sign up at the Connections Counter before it is full or call chief fish-story teller Clark Smith at 678-568.
On June 25 a number of the men and women of West Side, organized by Fishers of Men, took a busload of kids from Madison House to Clear Lake for fishing, food, and the gospel, presented by our youth interns. KidFish gives some wonderful young kids a day in a magnificent part of God’s creation – and the blessings back to us are just as wonderful as those that they take home.
Other areas of opportunity to serve and grow:
IronMan meets in January-February every Saturday Morning at 7:30 am in the Commons for a great meal with a great speaker. Join us and bring a friend.
Helps Ministry, a ministry of men helping people of West Side in practical ways such as home repair, automotive, yard work, etc. If you have skills, please contact Ron Rhillips and see how you can be involved.
Outdoor Connections: Fishers of Men (scheduled fishing trips), West Side Shooters and a fall Golf Tournament. Consider inviting your friends, neighbors, and others to one or more of these events. They will enjoy meeting other men of West Side in a non-threatening environment.
